The great-grandchildren of Winston Churchill are coming to Missouri to pay a visit to the site of his famous "Iron Curtain" speech.
Officials at Westminster College in Fulton say Randolph Churchill and Jennie Churchill Repad will visit the National Churchill Museum during Churchill Weekend on March 1 and 2.
Churchill biographer Paul Reid will deliver a lecture on March 2. Several other events are planned.
Churchill delivered the speech during a visit to Westminster on March 5, 1946, using the term "Iron Curtain" to reference Eastern Europe's growing domination by the Soviet Union.
“Leave the past to history especially as I propose to write that history myself.”
