In 2021, the State of Missouri passed legislation designating March 5 of each year as "Iron Curtain Speech Day" In Missouri.  Citizens of Missouri are encouraged to celebrate with appropriate events and activities to recognize the anniversary of Winston Churchill's famous speech at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, on March 5, 1946.
