President Barack Obama has a weak foreign policy and has not responded to the murder of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, former United Nations Ambassador John R. Bolton charged Wednesday in Fulton.
Bolton toured the National Churchill Museum in Fulton and told a press conference after the tour the Obama Administration still has not taken any action in response to the murder of J. Christopher Stevens, United States Ambassador to Libya, and three other embassy staff members in the Sept. 12 attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi.
Bolton said America now faces threats from North Korea and Iran and terrorist attacks as well. "We don't know now the source of the attack in Boston but we do know that seven months after the attack in Benghazi we have done nothing to retaliate against that attack. We also have not found the people who did it," Bolton said.
He said failing to respond to terrorist acts will lead only to more attacks in the future.
"The great risk now is that the next major 911 attack on the United States might be with chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, which is something that nobody wants to contemplate," Bolton said.
“Leave the past to history especially as I propose to write that history myself.”
