FULTON - The National Churchill Museum assembled its holiday honor tree Thursday to celebrate and honor men and women serving in the military for the holiday season.
This is the fourth year the museum has decorated the honor tree. The tree is covered with holiday lights and pictures of men and women who are currently serving in the armed forces, veterans and those who have died in the line of duty.
Organizers at the museum said in the past two years many people have included stories to accompany the pictures. All of the pictures are of people from Missouri. The museum will accept photos and stories right up until the last day of the year. You can send photographs of military loved ones to be placed on the tree by drop off, mail, e-mail (mandy.plybon@chuchillmemorial.org) or fax (573-592-5222).
