Patterned after the annual service at the University of Cambridge, England, Westminster College’s 37th Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols includes nine readings from scripture related to the Christmas story along with corresponding carols performed by area musicians.

This year’s Lessons and Carols was prerecorded and will be released tonight, on the  evening of the 80th anniversary of the Second Great Fire of London, when the historic Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, was bombed during the Blitz in World War II.

WHEN: Available for viewing TONIGHT at 7 p.m. CST on Dec. 29, 2020 ― the 80th anniversary of the Second Great Fire of London, the night when the historic Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, was bombed during the Blitz in World War II.
